Goodmorning Newlyweds!! Hope everyone is getting excited for the weekend!! Its almost here!!!!!
So I know im not the only one that wishes we could do it all over and get married everyweekend! my question for today is:
A few years from now will you renew your vows?? When would you do it? 5, 10, 25 years? Where would you go to do it? Who would you invite? or would you rather it just be you and DH? or maybe you feel that your wedding day should only be that one day and you dont need to renew your vows because the ones you said that day last forever...
I think for us I would def wanna renew my vows! Im going to say either 5 years, but most likely 10. I would wanna go to a tropical island maybe aruba, cabo or bermuda (all places me and DH have been) actually maybe Hawaii (since we wanted to go there for our honeymoon but money would not allow it) lol I would invite anyone who wanted to be there, maybe close family, but if it turned out to be just me and DH that would be great too! I always said if i wasnt so set on having a traditional church wedding like ive always dreamt about i would DEF done a destination wedding on the beach! so when we renew our vows thats what we will do!!!

I would def renew our wedding vows probably at the 10 yr mark. I would want to do it by ourselves on the beach at sunset in Hawaii. I love the idea of renewing our vows and just stating our love for one another again. I told DH that and he said well look at how well that worked out for Jon & kate and I just laughed. I told him well I am not a crazy chick like kate so its not the same...and I have no intentions on having 8 kids.

Either 10 or 25. It will depend on where we are in life, personally & financially. I would like to say 10, but I am guessing we will have children who are between 4-8 so who knows if that would really happen. I would absolutely do it on the beach. If my parents still have the house then maybe in Florida in the backyard on the beach. Or maybe the Caribbean. Would love to go back and do it at the Grand Wailea chapel. I would probably invite our immediate family, bring the kids, and maybe our closest friends (whoever that may be at the time.)
My grandparents renewed their vows on the beach at Islamorada in the Florida Keys for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. My parents and I were there with my Uncle and his children. It was so cute. Unfortunately we will be like 78 by our 50th, my grandfather was only 71 and my grandmother was 68.

We have already talked about this! I think we will renew our vows in 10 years. We are going to do it on the beach just not sure where yet but definitly some where tropical.

I would like to do it in 5 years. Nothing huge, just both of us on an island somewhere, renewing our love and committment to one another. Maybe a big one after 30 years or so with family and friends.

ITA - same here - about 10 yr mark - maybe renew where we had our private ceremony for just DH & I down in Sandals Grande Anitgua, but maybe do a different Sandals - ST Lucia...?- not sure at this point. All we know is that we already discussed we want to do it on a beach & somewhere tropical. I think we would open it up for anyone to come that can afford the travelling expense - but let them know gifts are not required - that their presence would be gift enough.

I agree the 10 year mark seems like a good time to do it!!! Love the sunset on Hawaii idea...we went on our HM there, so it's a perfect place for us! I only want 8 cats though
