is it too little if I write 2 lines? Here's a rough draft of what I want to write. Let me know what I can add and / or change
Thank you so much for your generous gift. Mike and I are so touched that you were able to help us celebrate this special day in our lives.
I feel like it's too short? What else without being cheesy?

Re: thank you card etiquette
I think that's perfectly fine. I mean, how much can you fit in a Thank You anyway. With my handwriting that would take up the whole card. Hehe.

Thanks for the response. I'm trying to write HUGE because my card is 5x7, I didn't realize how big that actually is

You can just add hope you had a good time at the wedding or it was great seeing you at the wedding.

I think it's perfect. I didn't write more than two lines on my thank you cards.

Our card is the same size. Instead of 'Mike and I', I would put 'We' since you're both signing the card. But yes, that's plenty to say.

Re: thank you card etiquette
i bought a book, the brides guide to thank you cards, or something like that
it and had tons of examples to modify and copy if you like, and i had tons of suggestions of synoniums(sp?) to use for descriptor words and closing remarks
