My friends wedding was just 2 weeks ago and we just got her thank you card! Meanwhile my wedding (not even 2 months ago) we have gotten done about 2/3 of the thank yous. But now I feel really bad that we are taking so much longer, but on the other hand, she doesn't work right now and so I guess has plenty of time to do this! Just frustrated because we have about 5 overlapping guests and they will have received her thank you card first even though her wedding was a few weeks after mine...

WOW!, she was really quick! I dont think guests expect to get them that quickly. You are on a good pace too. I got married in November, and we got our Thank You's from our photographer the middle of march and sent them out a week later. But people were saying that we did them quickly. Guests expect that your thank you's may come from the photographer and there is processing time. So I wouldn't stress over it

I got mine out right before our six-month anniversary. DH still hasn't even looked at doing his and I refuse to nag him about it!

DH and I only just picked the pic for our Thank You cards this past weekend and our wedding was 3 months ago

i'm hoping to get mine out before stamps increase in may, but since i've been very slow going through my proofs, this does not seem likely.

Don't worry about it. We waited so long for our proofs it took us about 5 months to send out our TY cards. A friend of ours was married in December and she sent hers out 2 weeks before us. I was very embarrassed about it but we got so many calls from people that loved our card that I didn't care anymore. Your friend sent them out super quick, don't base your time line on that!

I think even your way ahead- I only sent mine out in mid-January and I was married in October

I did a hand written one 2 weeks after the wedding because I didnt have anything to do and I didnt want to forget. But I'm sending a TY card with our pictures from our photographer again... hopefully after my semester is over.
You have a year to send out your cards so dont worry.

I FINALLY finished writing out all of my Thank You's a week and a half ago. They're currently sitting bundled up on the kitchen counter bc I'm too lazy/cheap to go out and buy stamps.
