Hi everyone... I just got married on 2.14.10 at Westbury Manor
I am trying to do my thank you cards. Should each person get a hand written note besides the pre-printed note?

DH is all for personalizing everything. He wanted to send out individual thank you's now to the very few people who were very generous. I haven't brought it up because I think it is totally unnecessary. I think a little personal note goes a long way.

we didn't have a preprinted message in ours, so I had wrote a message in each thank you

We did personalized message...we werent fans of pre printed messages...we felt like people were so generous, the least we could do was give them a personal thank you

We're doing a combination of both. Our cards say 'Thank you for adding to the joy of our wedding.' And then we'll also write personalized messages in each card.
You should really personalize the cards, IMO.

I put a short preprinted poem on it but wrote to everyone individually. I just liked the poem
