Thank You Help...

This one's confusing.........

A friend of my husband's brought a girl 'friend' to our wedding...it wasn't his actual girlfriend so we were a little confused at the time. We were introduced to her but because of the shock and confusion...neither one of us can remember her name.

OK...Here's my dilema. I am writing their Thank You note. He only put HIS name on the card, not the girls name OR his girlfriends name. He is still dating his original girlfriend that didn't come to the wedding, but apparently, she was away, so that's why he brought his 'friend'. Should I just write the thank you to just him, him and his girlfriend or him and his girl 'friend'? I can't decide what to do. I'm sure I sound totally confusing.

I'd say send the TY to just the person who signed the card.

I agree, send it to him, since the gift came only from him and his girlfriend wasn't at the wedding.

Yes ... just him. He probably just brought that girl for company ... I doubt she contributed to the gift!
