thank you notes

Well after waiting for over 2 months to receive them they arrived yesterday and now all 196 of them are handwritten. Woo hoo.

I have to go and purchase stamps and seal them so they can go out on Monday.

I'm jealous!

I got up really early this morning and DH HELPED a LOT! He did all of his parents and his friends thank you notes. I had about 30 more to do than he did but he still had a lot of them. I really appreciated his help.

Can you persuade your DH to help you with them?

We also had a deadline. We are moving and the address on the envelope would have been incorrect after next week so I HAD to get them done.

okay..you are making me feel bad.... i am just finally starting mine this weekend!! yikes!! i was married a month and half before you!!!!

thanks!! those are helpful!!! i have sooo many to do and i feel i am writing the SAME thing!!!

honestly, MOST of my guests got the same thing because we got a lot of $ gifts. For those that gave things I wrote about the thing. Otherwise, it was basically variations of the top one. I think people just care that they got a note and that it was handwritten. It does not have to be perfect, just done.
ETA: I did not mean to sound callous or uncaring, but I hope my guests know they were appreciated. I think that it is hard to be personal to people I have never met before and that are my parents friends. To my or DHs friends we wrote really personal and individual notes. The suggestions are for those people that neither one of us actually knew.
