thank you question, i'm sure itll be the first of many

ok, so i'm finally doing thank yous, i know i'm cutting it close but thats not the issue at the moment. so long story short, we had wedding crashers. they did however give a gift. how do i write out their thank you? i dont really want to thank them for sharing in our day because we didnt want them there, we only let them stay because they're the type of people who would've made a huge scene. in the same respect, i feel like it wouldnt be right to just thank them for their gift. any suggestions?

thanks girls, once these are finished and i get settled with the pup and my new job, i promise to be back, i miss you all!

I don't really understand why you don't want to just thank them for the gift.

I guess you could say something about their 'surprise attendance'

i dont think you need to make remarks about their surprise attendance.

its over. there was almost a year ago.

they gave a gift.

showing up was wrong. but you let them stay and you accepted their gift.

just write the thank you card and nicely as you will write anyone else's and send the dang thing and get the TYs over with.

I agree- just say thank you for the gift and move on.

I also agree. As much as you don't want to thank them just for the gift, just write it out and it's over and done with.
