Thank You's

What can I write to people that couldnt attend the wedding but sent a card with money and people that just sent a card??

And those who attened who gave no gift

For ppl who just sent a card:

Thank you so much for your wedding wishes. We missed you at our wedding and hope to see you soon. Love, _________

For ppl who sent a card with a gift:

Thank you so much for your card and generous gift. It was so thoughtful of you. We missed you and hope to see you soon.
Love, ___________

Thank you for sharing our special day with us!

For the Thank Yous my husband and I put

Thank you for your generous wedding gift and for sharing our special day with us.

Do you have to send a card to those guests that didn't give any gift at all? I feel like they should send us a thank you card for having paid for their plate.

I do have a guest that didn't give a gift but I know that they are not doing so good financially so their presence alone meant a lot to us.

i did not send a thank you to those who attended but did not give a gift. i just didn't want to go there or look like i was sending them a note to remind them that they didn't give a gift.

But no I really don't think you're obliagted to send a TY to someone who didn't have the good manners to give a gift. The particular friend who did this and I are not really friendly any more. I let it go but I just couldn't look at her the same way again...I was just hurt and upset over it too much to pretend it didn't happen
