So I say we just plan this next get together, we do enough chatting on here ! Lets just save our fingers the typing and get our mouths moving (not hard for us, huh ? I Think we chatted for 3 hours before we even sat down to eat last time !! - Cira and I famished to death, LOL)
Anyone ready to plan it ? Is late next week or early the week of 9/9 good ? I cant do Tues 9/3. I know next week starts school so few of your schedules may be crazy..

DH will have a cow, since i'm 35 weeks along, and by then will be 37 (3 weeks from my due date)... i'd venture to do it. Maybe i'll go sleep in Queens that nite, at my parents. How far are do you guys live ? (maybe we can make it closer to where you are, so you can get off the LIRR and meet us right afterwards...)

Anna, maybe after you have the baby? I live in Queens and it's no problem for me to meet in Nassau, but not on a week night -- I'd never make it out there with the traffic -- I'd get there for coffee & dessert!!! Michelle lives upstate, so she wouldn't be able to make it.

I'm way out in Western Suffolk and couldn't get to the city before 7:30 or so - could we compromise with Queens or maybe something out towards the Queens-Nassau border?
What about Tequila Sunrise on Bell Blvd.? City folks could take the LIRR / Port Washington line out there maybe?

Let me know and im in, not so sure about going all the way to the city though, i wouldnt get there until 8 prob. cant wait!!! and oh by the way there is a new parenting board!!! yippie something to look foward too!!! And JennRenee, some BABY DUST FOR YOU!!!! and ill sprinkle a little on myself, just wont tell the hubby!! he wants to wait until the end of the year! LOL Oh also i am going to bring someone with me. I met her on the knot, she lived in Kansas, and moved out here a month ago, and i have been showing her around and getting settled, so i figure the more the merrier!!!!

So lets shoot for 2 weeks from yesterday (thursday the 12th ?) in Western Suffolk somewhere, since that seems to be the midpoint for us.
Is a thursday good for everyone ? 6pm-ish ?

I'd love to join in too, and Western Suffolk or Nassau would be great for me .. however, my schedules can be very difficult, and I don't know what they're going to be like once I get back home for good. Mondays are usually the only night I have. I don't want anyone being inconvenienced by my limited schedules, though.

I could do a Queens/Nassau border get together!!!! If that one happens, I'm in. Getting out too far into Nassau or Suffolk would be out of the question time wise for me.
Organizing group outings is not my forte so I'll have to defer to whoever is good at it for the date & location...Tuesdays & Wednesdays are bad for me starting next week - Tue night: weekly OB visit, Wed night: Child birth classes
but I so want to join in so I will keep my eyes peeled for more on the subject

I'm best for Mon - Wed... Thursdays are possible, but could be difficult. Sept 12th is definitely out because Sept 11th is Patrick's 30th birthday, and since he already knows he'll be working overtime on that day, we'll be celebrating on the 12th. If you can't plan it for any other day, don't worry about me... but I'll be so sad to miss it!!

Elizabeth, you sound like me with all those classes. Have you taken infant CPR ? The suffolk Y offers it for free, do a search for my post called 'prego ladies, free classes' I am also going to a breastfeeding class Tuesday (free!). What hospital are you delivering at ? (im going to St Charles in Port Jeff) There are also some free classes at BabiesRUs, theres an Infant Massage class that I want to sign up for..
