Thatched Cottage Reviews and Flexibility?

My FH and I are trying to make our final selection for a venue this week! The Historical Thatched Cottage is still our #1 choice so far. We did the tasting and although the food was not to my liking (choice wise), I still thought it looked and tasted good.

Questions : What do you think of this venue if you have had your wedding here or will be having it there? AND were they willing to work with you on the price or throw in some EXTRAS????
