girls, were there any other books you read (besides the beloved conscious bride) that helped you BECOME a bride? thoughtful books that understood that becoming ENGAGED is not ALL fairytale?? THANKS!

I've never even heard of The Concious Bride, but I've never really been big on fairytales either.

oh lord. me neither. certainlty getting engaged for me was NO fairytale. this book de-bunked all those myths.

I actually did the Conscious Bride Workbook -- and it was such a useful tool for me to look at myself and my fantasies (let's face it we all have a fantasy wedding in our head).
