The Ever Popular THANK YOU Question

Okay - i have everything I need to write out my cards, a great opening - -signature...but i'm lost with the part where people gave us cash...

Thank you very much for your generous gift.

with nothing else after it seems 'off' to me..

can anyone come up with something to add to that to make it sound better - before the 'love always' ?????????

I used lines like...

We are truly blessed by your love and friendship throughout the years.

Having you there as we began our life together meant the world to us.

We were so happy that you were able to share in our celebration as we began our new life together.

i have an entire paragraph before the thank you line...it's LONG...

i'm going with: Thank you so very much for your generous gift. Your kindness & thoughtfulness are truly appreciated.

Love Always - David & Jessica (for family) and Dave & Jess (for friends)...

Once they are all sent out and received, i'll post the actual top paragraph - i'm really quite fond of it..
