I was sitting in my OBGYN office yesterday waiting for my checkup...and baby pictures are everywhere in this office! Normally i just ooo and aww at them, but yesterday - they made me saddd! I want one!
I hate that we cant just go ahead and try for one now...

We agreed we want to have a house, or be close to being able to afford to buy a house before we have kids...And we're definitely not there yet! So I will stay patient...or try to!

Well that's a good reason!!! We kinda have the same agreement, except DH is the one with baby fever!
Just think of how much happier and less stressed and how much better it'll be for the baby if you wait!

I have been feeling the same way, but we need to dig out of the debt that we got into when DH was on reduced salary and build up a nest egg. I want to know that no matter what we are safe in our house. Also want to know if we will be in NY or if we will sell our house and move to CT.
But I am really ready.

I posted about this not too long ago. DH & I both decided it would be best for us to own a bigger apartment or home & both be working full time before we even start TTC. Meanwhile, all of our friends are either pregos or TTC for their second & it kinda kills me inside to see them. But I totally get the reasons why we are waiting & why we are doing what is best.
I am hoping for a puppy or kitty in the mean time.

DH has baby fever BIG TIME!!!! Every time we talk to my mom, he says 'ok, we gotta go so we can make you some grand kids' I, on the other hand, have not caught the fever yet

i'm about halfway there lol. i do get a little pang of jealousy when i see new babies, but at the same time, i enjoy the freedom my husband and i have no. but we said we would start trying once we have a house. and we're actively house hunting, so probably by the end of the year we'll start trying.

I do..and if it was up to FH, he would be trying right now. We def. won't have a house when we have our first child, but that's ok with us. I will probably have to delay starting my actual career, but that too can wait. I don't want to be in my 30s having all my kids and having a family shortly, within the next year or so is way more important to me than a dream career. And hopefully one day I can be a stay-at-home mom.

im beyond having the fever! now im just totally jealous! everyone around me is trying, is preggo, or just had one, or prego with #2!
DH is set on this 11/11/11 craziness! i just said it would be a coold day to have a baby! not that we have to try and have our baby that day! i keep telling him is impossible to do! but he wont budge!!
i feel your pain! whever i go shopping i feel like i turn to the right...prego, i turn to the left prego, look straight ahead there is a woman with a stroller!! ugh!
just found out my BIL and SIL are expecting and due xmas eve. they got married 2 months after us...

Its a serious situation.. I know as Jilli said .. YOUR TIME WILL COME.. I'm sure you will be ready for whenever that moments arrives..
I've heard soo many with baby fever.. Just go right ahead and do what you have to do.. Everything will fall into place when the time arrives.. G/L to all with BABY FEVER
