the forbidden....or not????

Okay so they other day DH & I got into a conversation with some other couples..and i was so taken back by some of the answers! Do u & DH 'pass gas' (FART..c'mon we can say it) in front of each other???? Some of the couples told DH & i that they've NEEEVER farted in front of each other & they've been married for 11 years! WHAT!?!?!!! c'mon! i mean..i understand some people just havent got that comfort level...but 11 years! PLUS 4 years of dating...thats 15 years of holding in ur funky stuff! CRAZY! And the husband was like 'if she ever farted in front of me that would ruin my perfect image of her'...WHAT??! Then the other couple: the husband said he won't even poop if his wife is in the house!!! that he 'just can't do it' RIDICULOUS! Sorry if i sound gross..but DH & i hold nothing back lol...he gives me some funk-ti-fied stench - i throw it right back at him! maybe it's because i grew up with brothers??? i dont know! and please, this is not to offend anyone that doesn't feel comfortable with this kind of stuff...i'm just so curious to hear everyone's answers after the convo's we had the other night!

No you are not alone. DH & I even joke about it.

im one of those girls who isnt comfy letting it go around DH....and its not bc DH would care bc i know he could care less and its not bc im not comfy around my own husband...id just feel gross. plain and simple. i always say the only toots he'll ever hear are the ones i absolutely cannot control! haha we're so not uptight or anything tho. we use the bathroom w/ the door open and have toilet chat...just for me, poopin in private is sacred. DH does everything out in the open!

we both 'let em rip' whenever need be!
Sometimes I still feel like I am 10 years old when DH does b/c I just have to giggle

My mom agrees with yoru mom;HATES it when my dad does it but actually Pete's ability to pee or poop and have a conmvo with me at the same time was my dealmaker

SOOO gross but I grew up with ym gram who was so not timid. Always kept the door open when I was little and even though I kept my door closed while with my parents, if its just him and I I close it part way so we can talk if we need to about groceries or whatever. He comes in with I am in the shower and have to go or vice versa.

My exes COULD NOT pee in front of me; one made me wait AN HOUR till he finished his shower and got angry I peed in his sink instead. hey HIS fault for not allowing his girlfirend of 9 month who he had in every imaginable way, to PEE in his bathroom while he was hidden behind the shower curtain.

I got his favorite beer mug GOOD

-snickers- We were breaking up anyway.

I think being able to fat/pee/poop in front of ane another may not be the image of great romance, but it shows a comfort level that means longevity.

When it has to be done i don't mind doing it in front of DH but just letting it rip I kinda do it in private. But DH on the other hand anytime anywhere. But he can never never go to the bathroom in front of me or vice versa. He is very private that way.

We hardly ever in front of eachother. Oddly enough we talk about farting and pooping all the time. We are like a bunch of 12 year old boys

I do what I need to do - I grew up that way. DH didn't so he's more shy. How weird is that?

Yea Im like that too. In my house, we all went into the bathroom freely. If someone needed to pee while the other was in the shower with the curtain firmly closed, we did it. No false modesty. We refrained from #2 though lol.


And yes a beer mug! he was SUCH a loser! OMG!!! We were long distance and when id come over he had time to plan but all he ever kept in his fridge was 2 6 packs and water in a pitcher. Oh and pork rinds.

DH is a ripper, I on the other hand am more timid! LOL
I try not to intentionally do it in front of him...LOL
He doesn't care either way, its just my own craziness....

he farts ALL THE TIME in front of me!
i have a bottle of perfume just for his farts! i go grab it and spray the affected area
as for me.. i dont do it as often but if i do.. hey, it happens!!
we just laugh at each other.. its great!
