The mark of a loving DH

The mark of a loving DH

I just got this text from DH, who is off on Fridays and doing our grocery shopping. Currently he is at BJ's:

'PS they have your pads so I bought two 56 packs.'

OK, so DH is doing our grocery shopping (which I seem to never have to come to at all), and thought he would see if they had my pads, which he has apparently paid enough attention to over the past three years to know which brand and variety I use?

To say I am impressed is a GROSS understatement. He doesn't even know what brand of shampoo I use, which stares him in the face every morning in the shower - but he knows which pads to buy? And he randomly thought of this because ... ?

I guess he's just a thoughtful, observant guy.

I am sitting in my office by myself laughing like a complete lunatic. Anyone walking past in the hallway probably thinks I’m a crazy person.

You know, DH has never been 'squeamish' and has picked up for me here and there through the years, but I didn't think he actually knew what I used - usually I have to take a picture and write down word for word what is on the bag because I won't use anything different. So this is totally out of left field, and adorable, and I just love it!

DH picks that stuff up for me all the time and the other day I called him to remind him and I started to say what to get and he was like 'yeah I know which ones you use'... but I do agree he probably couldnt tell you what shampoo I use either

OMG that is so cute! They notice the funniest things!

So funny cause DH came out of the bathroom the other day and goes, 'Babe, I am so proud of you.' and I was like, 'ummm, why?' and he's like, 'You bought generic brand tampons! Way to save money in these tough economical times.' I had no idea he would notice such a thing.

Consider yourself lucky. One time I asked DH to stop to get tampons on his way home. I told him exactly which ones to get, and he calls me & puts me on the phone with some woman at the store. She was just a shopper, and I told her which ones and she got them for him.
