I finally went through my wedding pictures and put aside the ones I'd like for mine & DH's photo album. But I've yet to choose the ones for my mom & MIL's photo album.
What kind of pictures did you put in those?? I'm at such a loss without an example album to check out. I know I've got to put in the family shots and all of that, but is there also any of you & DH?? Or is it really ONLY supposed to be parents/family photographs?

I actually had my parents choose photos..They picked a mix of themselves, the family and us. I felt it was their album so they should pick out the photos

yep!! its much easier!!!! She can pick what she likes!!!! especially because she may like certain photos of herself that you maybe would disagree on. everyone has a different opinion!!

i let them pick their...they were aloud 25-30 photos...and i know if i would've picked they both would've had something to say lol..mom & mil are just too picky that way & they like what they like!

thanks. I think I'll just let my mother choose her own then. My MIL, however, is another story. I still gotta think about that one. If anybody has any advice for me on that - please do share. lol. MIL photo delema

Have your mom and MIL pick out the photos that they want in their album.
We aren't doing parent albums but we are getting six 5x7 photos - I had my mom pick out the one we're using for it.

My mom picked out her own photos, and I did my MIL since she lives out of state. In her album I did a lot of her and DH, DH and his siblings. Than I did I range of me getting ready, DH getting ready, a few from the ceremony, and the rest were full family shots, and DH and I alone.

Both sets up parents picked out their own pics.
But as an example my parents did something along these lines:
2 of me alone 1 of DH alone 1 of parents alone 3 of myself and DH together 1 of us at the alter 2 of bridal party 1 of me and sisters 5 family pictures 1 father walking me down the aisle 1 first dance with DH 1 cake cutting 1 father daughter dance
