The nerve!

My Mom's neighbor went up to her yesterday and started to compliment me and saying nice stuff until she then said. 'But you know in a civilized world a little thank you note would be nice' (she gave me $ but couldn't come to the wedding) My Mom got sooo mad so she said to her. 'My daughter is waiting for her thank you cards so you will get one'.
Can you imagine, she is so nasty sometimes!! She told my sister one time she gained some weight and when is she going to find a husband!
Now I don't want to send the thank you, she's so rude!!!!!
Just needed to vent!

Water off a ducks back. Don't let get to you. You can't please everyone. She sounds like a lonely busy-body with nothing to do expect complain about everyone else. Its kinda sad actually. I pity people like that.

WOW that is really rude, did she apologize to your mom when she said you where waiting for your thanky ou cards to come in. Maybe she doesnt realize that you have up to one year. Dont let her bother you. When you cards coem in just send her one and call her a day

sounds liek she is miserable in her life and like to pass it along to others.

people will be people. i had a friend of the family go up to my mom at my freakin' bridal shower & tell her how she 'couldn't even tell her daughter where she was going today because she would never be able to get over not being invited'

try not to let it get to you... when all is said & done she'll get over it

marijuana is more believable. She'll either get arrested or have tons of teenagers raiding her yard. She doesn't seem like the type who likes young people.
