The *OFFICIAL* simple pleasures thread...

Kissing my husband and just realizing that he will be here through good and bad.

My cute kitty boys and kissing their bellies

Laying in bed watching SATC re-runs, Mets games and useless TV

Reading a book

And in the summer-coming home from work, getting changed and just sitting outside and feeling the warm air with a glass of iced tea

-DH staying awake past 8PM (he's up early everyday so getting time at night to watch a movie is precious- I keep telling him I didn't sign up for marrying a 90 year old who needs a daily nap!

-my niece calling me 'auntie' with her cute little voice

-not having set plans on the weekend, I love leisure time and spontaneity

Lazy Sundays in my PJs with DH and my pup
Spring!
Pretty much any time spend with my pup - she just makes me smile

sitting on our balcony with wine or beer in hand in the evenings, later fall or early spring (before the humidity has arrived), and watching the boats slide around on the river.

being at home and walking on the beach at Robert Moses (any time of year)

coming off the high of a really good work out, and knowing that I just actually kicked my butt and feeling proud that I made it to the gym in the first place.

getting one of DH's huge bear hugs where he swings me around like a little kid.

cleaning my ears

blowing my nose


ALL FEEL OH SO GOOD!

the b to the itches I got to hang out with Friday night.

and the fact that Peggy told me she couldn't STAND me a year ago on the boards and now we're practically BFFs..

not so catty pleasures:
-my son's gorgeous green eyes
-my husbands support in my upcoming schooling adventures
-my health and the fact that 3 years ago I could barely walk and now I can run miles.

The smell of coffee brewing in the morning, there is nothing like a good cup of coffee first thing in the morning.
The way that DH hugs me in the middle of the night.
Hearing DH's nieces and nephews calling me Aunt.
Taking long drives with DH and then going to the beach to watch the sunset.

Hanging out with DH and having Wii Bowling Tournaments!!!

Hanging out at family parties when everyone comes over!!

Treating myself to a massage or a fabulous pedicure with a 10 minute foot and leg massage

Waking up to Chico laying on my pillow and giving me doggie morning breath kisses!!

Having my nephews come over for a slubmer party and making brownies and cookies and running around the house!!

There's so many more... but these are just a few of my favs!!!

-lazy sundays with DH on the couch
-my first cup of coffee in the morning
-seeing how cute DH is with babies

I also LOVE pickin my nose!! especially those really hard crusty ones BUT when you pull a huge juicy booger comes out!! HEAVEN!!!! I of course go to wash my hands and only do this in the privacy of my own home!

Watching NY Mets games with DH.

Taking a BIG OLE DUMP!!! Feels so good!

OMG- you just reminded me- how could I possibly forget- POPPIN A BIG FAT JUICY WHITEHEAD, or SQUEEZING DEEP FOR A RICE FEELING BLACKHEAD- IMHO- Nothing better!!!!!!!!!!! Popping a good one can put me on a high for days!!!!
