I have such issues with this... this person is NOT a man... SHE has female reproductive organs. I understand and respect that she lives as a man and takes male hormones, but at the end of the day, she is not a man.
A real pregnant man would have a penis which as of today, is still unheard of.
This story is so rediculous. I was sitting at my ob/gyn this morning waiting for my appt. and they were talking about it on the view. Me along with a bunch of other preg. women were ripping this guy/girl apart. It's just so stupid!! They were saying that his wife still lactates and breastfeeds the baby. That part I don't get!! They are doing it for the money IMO.

technically you don't need a penis to be called a male, but in order to be considered such a transgendered 'female to male' must have their female reproductive organs removed. meaning no uterus.
i mean, i'm happy for him (that's what he wants to be called, so that's how i will refer to him) but the media's being a little over the top about it all... they're trying to display it as a 'medical miracle' but it's not. in reality it's making a mockery out of this family, which is kind of sad. the family has an opportunity to really educate people on the issues they're facing and yet everyone's amazed by 'the pregnant dude.'

Its a chick who wants to be a guy but hasn't lopped off his weinie. I just don't get why the media is making this into THE MAN who is pregnant.
I understand people are born sometimes as the wrong sex and that doesn't make them strange in my eyes. What I find strange is if you want to be a male then why get preggers and carry the child? What is wrong with his* wife? I don't know the whole story so I don't want to fully judge. People who are transgender feel wrong in that body and they are FULLY that other sex. They hate their private organs it makes them ill - so why procreate with those organs and then have a TV crew/media/people magazine write stories about it? Makes you seem like a bit of an attention *****.
Feel bad for the kids honestly, just live your life be happy and don't have a tv crew around and you won't seem like such an oddity. He is really hurting transgenders big time with this.

My question on this is more medical interest-if this person is taking THAT many hormones to look that mascilune, how can that be healthy for the baby? I mean 'He' has facial hair and overall except for the belly looks male. I am curious how that could be safe for the baby and why doctors would allow it-it seems risky to me but then I am not a doc so maybe it is totally safe.

i THINK i read somewhere she's not taking anything while preggo. I could be wrong.

Supposedly while 'he' was TTC and while pregnant he was not taking the male hormones...
