The restaurant we had dinner reservations for on vday just canceled

We had dinner reservations on vday at Roys Hawaiian Cuisine and they just called to tell me the restaurant is closed for dinner now and had to cancel our reservation. How are we going to find something now?

We got a new place! Thank you!

ugh sorry to hear that.

I would just start calling a bunch of places and seeing if you get lucky. Dh once was able to get reservations somewhere not long before.

Are you looking for LI, queens, Manhattan?

My sister just made a reservation at Giardino's in Douglaston last night- I am sure there are plenty of places that arent booked. Good luck & sorry that they did that to you!

I had a problem with mine too! We are going to parkside and I called to confirm and they didn't have me in their reservation book. Luckily a friend knows someone and was able to re-book my reservation. What area and type of food are you looking for, I'm sure we can suggest some good places

We were planning for the city since we have Guys and Dolls at 8pm. I'm open to anything.

well if you go earlier you might have better luck

Try Vagabondo's, food is delicious and not that far from times square

Pietrasantra in times square area is very good too

Plataforma in times square, its brazilian

Craft-that is Tom's restaurant on top chef, not that close to times square though

Oh wow, I haven't been to Il Vagabondo's in ages! I was only there a few times, but their food is good for a little hole in the wall...cute place.

If you want something in the theatre district I really liked Blue Fin - I had a delicious piece of fish. What about steak place? I have a lot of yummy recommendations!

go to opentables.com you can search certain areas of the city, Brooklyn, queens etc and you can out the time and it will list plenty of places you can go and you can make the reservation online, I use opentables for everything I love them HTH

Brasserie 8 1/2!

Awe I love Roy's-I worked at one in California. It's probably not a great menu on V day anyway- a regular evening is probably better. I have heard good things about Brasserie 8 1/2. Enjoy your dinner!
