The search for an apartment is OVER!!!!

DH and I are moving to Bay Shore!!!! WOOOHOO!!!

We just got the call, our application was approved and we are moving in Sept. 1st!!

I can't tell you how excited I am--I'm a south sho' hoe....I never felt comfortable living in the North Shore...no offense to anyone....just not used to it around here....and always wanted to head back to my old stomping grounds.

YAY congratulations

i have no clue what the northshore is or southshore, but glad you're moving to the area you wanted. Its just about being familiar with your surroundings.

North shore is the North shore of the island and south is the south shore of the island...north and south of the LIE

im from SI and we have our own North/South shore. I live in the North and personally wouldnt move to the South only because its like a different world over there. I have nothing against it, its just not for me. Jess probably doesnt think the North shore is for her.

congrats!!! I'm a south sho' hoe toooooo except it's the south shore of Queens....that kinda sorta counts (hey if you look at a map, we're physically on Long Island ....my cousin's in Bayshore......just past Fifth Avenue and off of St. Louis somewhere over there......I really like that area.

if you wanna get technical---bay shore is a hamlet of the town of islip...so its part of islip!

i totally just threw a monkey wrench in it all didn't i?
