Thank goodness it's done. Of course we wanted to thank all our guests, but that was sure alot of writing. Yay...I just put them all in the mail!

Elizabeth - I know just how you feel!!! Both MIL and Grandmother in Law have told me that relatives have commented on what a nice note they recieved - that was a great feeling too!

Congrats!

That is great news! Its really time for me to buckle down and get started. The picture will be ready next week so I need to get those notes done. It is a monumental task, isn't it?

Congrats!

It can be monumental I guess.. you can always try to do a few a day. I got into a rhythym with it and then it began to flow. I just remembered how wonderful everyone was and then the notes I was writing didn`t sound so rote. I waited till they were all done to send them out all at once, mainly so I could be absolutely sure that I sent one to everyone. It is a relief the have them all done though.

10 per day.....

I set a goal of 10 cards per day and found it pretty managable.

Another thing that helped was that when I finished a group of cards I`d address envelopes for the next 10 on the list and I`d take my list and some note cards to work. If I had the chance to shut my office door at lunchtime I could write out a few more.

I also waited until I had them all done so I could triple-check my list to make sure I didn`t forget anyone.

Of course just when you think you`re all done, more gifts arrive.... but I`m not complaining!!!

10 per day.....

Yeah, I figured I would start this weekend with the 10 a day rule. By that time, the picture should be ready and I can just stuff them and mail them all at once. Karen, I got that book you recommended and it does have some great suggestions.
