The Thankyou card episode on Raymond last night

Oh my it was sooooo funny- I LOVE THAT SHOW!!!

Just wondering did any of your parents or inlaws hound you about when you would send out YOUR thank yous.

I just sent mine out after a little over 3 months of being married, now I know if I had waited a little longer MY family would have said something. They are such sticklers for that type of stuff.

I HAD to read this thread because I LOVE Ray Romano!!! I remember that episode.

My parents actually haven't hounded us yet. I'm hoping to get mine out in January, so that'll be within the 3-4 month period. I hope that's ok. I think any time after that, my mother will probably chime in with something!

I love that show and yes my MIL the other day goes 'Oh and I am sure you've done your thank yous already' I was like 'no I havent!!!!!!' Really I am not slacking I am just waiting for the TY picts

My MIL has some of Marie Barone in her.

One of her friends sent a gift for the baby to her house (which she opened of course

) So when Steve brings it home to me he also has a blank thank you card along with their address.(which I already have they were invited to our wedding) Just in case I don't have any thank you cards.

HELLO!!! of course I have thank you cards.

My IL's gave us money towards Damien's christening and I told Steve I was going to use the thank you that she 'sent over'

He was not amused

My parents have said something, but we have been trying to explain that they take a while to come in. They are all written, but we are just waiting for the photos.

my mil said something. we just sent them last week so we were within the three months. it really made me mad that she brought it up. i'm sorry i actually have to go to work and can't sit around on my butt all day like her! maybe i should have told her if she was so worried she could write them out. she drives me bananas!!! she tries to be all sweet and nice but i know it's all just one big act and it makes me sick. i don't know why she cared anyway there was only like 5 people there from her side of the family and half of them sent gifts right after the shower, which i thought were shower gifts, but were apparently wedding gifts b/c they didn't bring anything else so they already got a thank you!

okay vent over.....
