The things you find out so much later on...

So I just heard that one entire table at my wedding didn't get cake because they ran out. It was the table with all my siblings and their spouses.

I also just found out that the favors I gave out that were supposed to be one per couple were given one per person at two tables, so I am hard pressed now to find out who didn't get favors.

Oh well...

The table cameras I bought off Ebay were in very bad condition inside. All those pictures came out dark and most of the cameras didn't have a working flash!

I forgot to put DH's second 'mom' on the florist list for a corsage...and when all the flowers were passed out she looked very upset, so DH's aunt and my mom went into the flower van and grabbed a few flowers from the centerpieces and some ribbon they had in the van and made her one...'

I felt so bad that I forgot...but I'm glad that someone else took care of it!!

I don't think I want to know. I did find out that a friend of mine from work wanted to sit with other people from work who were at another table so had started to ask other guests at this other table to switch seats! This friend was sitting with other colleagues as well and trust me, if I could put all my colleagues together, I would have. Fortunately, a colleague and a BM told her to stop it!

Gary's nephew and brother's got in a huge fight outside of the reception and the cops were called! Too much alcohol ya think!?

I had a guestbook that everyone was to write/draw on (best memories of us, future kids names, how this guest met us,etc) and my SIL threw them at my nieces and said draw away! My other SIL saw her do it so I never got those memory books from Gary's family, oh well!

I found out an uncle was really jerky to the maitre'd and a bunch of my proofs were ruined by a vendor's unablilty to get out of a shots they promised they wouldn't be in - these would be the walking up the aisle pics too!! I get so pi$$ed everytime I see their face

my sister just found out that two 'straight' friends...or so she thought...from opposite sides found themselves 'not so straight' in the men's bathroom!

My mom's friend was at a wedding where 2 tables didn't get cake. The MOB called the hall a few days later, after she found out, and was given some money back for the blunder. I would call the hall asap and complain.

I don't want to know the stuff that went totally wrong. Please never tell me.

I agree - it's over and done with, the mistakes can't be changed, so I don't want to know either!!

We have some left over, I guess we did not get around to giving them all out, so what I do is as I see people casually i ask them if they got their favor. Don't sweat it sweetie. The cake is another story. 1 yr anniv you better have a party and have cake for everyone
