What are you guys doing with your wedding dresses?
Does anyone know of a place to preserve it in Queens or Nassau LI?

Mine is STILL hanging on the door in my old bedroom at my moms. One of these days (not anytime soon) I will get it cleaned and boxed. Maybe for my 10 year anniversary!!
Mine just went back into the garment bag. If I have a daughter, she can play in it. At least it will get another use then.

I preserved it at a local dry cleaners. They did an amazing job! It is in a sealed box with a little window so that you can see the top half of the dress. I wanted to preserve it b/c I wanted it to look as beautiful as it did the day I wore it . One day I hope if I have a daughter, she will wear it if not, one of my nieces will I hope.

I am havng mine made into a baptismal gown for our future children and then they can use it for our grandchildren.

Mine is still hanging on the bedroom door in the garment bag. I dont see myself shelling out the $ preserve it anytime soon!
I am also thinking of using it for my 1st childs baptismal gown.

Anyone suggest any good cleaners to get it preserved at on Long Island? I dont like my local dry cleaners.

Wow! I thought I was the only one! Mine is in the exact same place!
Well that makes three of us.....mine has been sitting on the back of my door since September of 04. I plan on just cleaning it and my mom said she would use the material to make our childrens christening gowns.

Mine is in the garment bag hanging in our coat closet. I was planning to get it preserved.....but I'm too lazy and don't want to spend the money on it right now.
