The Youtube Wife -- thoughts?

You ladies see the latest with the woman from youtube---Tricia Walsh-Smith? The one who posted a video on youtube trying to get people to feel sorry for her cause she was gonna get evicted from her park ave. apartment and such? She even went so far as to tell sordid details on their sex life---and even call the asst. of her husband on the phone to share that with her as well.

Yesterday the judge ruled in favor of the husband--even going so far as to say that her little youtube rant hurt her case substantially.

My issue is -- YOU SIGNED A PRE-NUP YOU RETARD!!!!!!!!!!! No one told you to sign the stupid thing--and you agreed to it anyway!! I bet her attorney begged her NOT to sign and she did it. The prenup stated the apartment would NEVER be hers....and she'd get a lump sum of $750K if they divorced. sorry sweetie--the judge doesn't care how much TLC you put into the place--how many dinner parties you hosted--how many bed spreads you instructed the cleaning ladies to put on your beds---or how many bjs you gave your crusty husband while on your knees of the marble flooring.

i have no issues with prenups themselves--i get the purpose of one. but you can't just SIGN one and then be mad later that you can't get more. DUH!!!!!

you made the CHOICE to move into a home that NEVER BELONGED TO YOU -- even though he told you time and again it was 'ours'. now we're supposed to feel sorry that you are being kicked out on your @ss? nope--no sympathy here.

she was just at a press conference shouting about how she won't be 'bullied' or coerced and she'll fight! good luck sweetie

any thoughts ladies? i'm feeling extra bitter this morning in case you can't tell.

Since I am feeling extra sentimental today. Stories like that scare me. How can you go from falling in love and getting married to. . . .just wanted to rip your husband apart and use any means necessary to get what you want.

I am not naive, I know divorce happens all the time but to go from one extreme to the other - blows my mind.

Also, I feel that society has just lost all sense of shame! I guess it is because of the internet age that we are living in but just keep your business, YOUR business - have some class!!

i know it sounds utterly cynical---but she is like 20 years his junior---and really on the crazy side. i'm gonna go out on a limb and say it probably wasn't a relationship based out of love

well at least not but maybe

Re: The Youtube Wife -- thoughts?

honestly many of my male friends got everything taken away from them once they got divorced. Wives were all nice and perfect then the d word got dropped the the claws came out. All of them bring out stories of their EVIL ex husband and just say horrible details of their personal lives. Personally that is scum in my eyes, you get married things don't work out so just end it.

My issue with this woman is going on tv, youtube and blasting her ex because of him being such a horrible husband but she loved him and she was blinded by his life, etc blah. Yea he is like ancient compared to her, HELLO? you think I really think you loved this man and not his money. Your crying over loosing this penthouse but it was never yours to begin with and yet your getting paid 750k and you signed a prenup. Get over it.

If I remember correctly these are the very vague and spotty details of their relationship. Don't kill me if I'm wrong, it's just the general gist.

He was a director or theater scion of some sort, he's from the Schubert family (Schubert Theater in the city). She was desperate to become a big time theater star, don't know her story prior to him beyond that. She 'fell in love' with him , they got married, I think the she produced/directed one show and kept pushing to do more, but she's talentless. I'm sure she got antsy that he wasn't helping her out more, then she got angry. So she blasted him.

I personally think she's a disgusting person. She's a brat who thought she 'deserved' a theater career, but in the end, biotch has no talent. He probably would have stayed with her and aside from making her a star would have provided her with a wonderful life. That wasn't enough for her. You can't FORCE your husband to give you a career. She's a drama queen and in the end she got exactly what she deserved, she'll be out on her asss.

seriously how is she gonna LIVE?!?!? omg the HORROR!

you agreed to that shiiiit years ago when you signed the pre-nup--that you'd have NO RIGHT to your OWN HOME and only get that lump sum

s t f u you stupid crazy bat!!!!

i would NEVER EVER sign a pre-nup that states that the home i am going to be living in--will not be partly mine...its like you live each day fearing your husband is gonna 'evict' your assss.
