So I've only had my car a week and since then 3 people have passed stop signs where I had to slam on my break and avoid them! This is how I was in my accident with my last car about a month ago. Today, this guy passed a stop sign so I slammed on my breaks and honked at him and he tailgated me for a mile honking his horn the whole time. I called DH because I thought this psychopath was going to follow me home! I've come to the conclusion that it's my fault because that's the only explanation I can come to! Ok vent over...maybe.

People dont know how to drive PERIOD. I was rear ended the day before yesterday just sitting at a red light. NO ONE is paying attention yet when they mess up YOURE THE A-HOLE for honking at them. Its soooo aggravating. Ive started slowing down at intersections these days even if I dont have a stop sign because I have no faith that anyone will stop anymore. Just drive slower thats all I can advise. Even if youre right, you will still have a messed up car. UGH PEOPLE SUCK

well since my last accident I drive like a grandma. DH was the passenger in my car the other day and looked in the back seat and I said what are you looking for and he said miss daisy, haha. He said I drive too slow but I can't drive fast with all the idiots on the road lately! I really feel like it's gotten worse in the past year.

i just got my car too, and in 2 days i feel like its a moving target, people have come so close to hitting me its frightening, i drive so slow cause im so scared

I remember my mom telling me when i first got my license to drive as tho I KNOW the people on the road next to me are complete idiots. Even if it seems ludicrous for them to turn or merge or whatever, just assume that they will. It definitely helps avoid accidents because let's be honest - most drivers ARE idiots
I think that's crazy that he followed you honking. Get a life, man! What is that?? When I was younger, I remember my mother cutting off a driver once because they were going way below the speed limit. The teenager driving got pissed and started following us on all these backroads. My mom didn't wanna lead 'em to our house, so she pulled in another person's driveway. lol. Obviously the dumb girl and her boyfriend just stopped for a moment and then drove away. Seriously - what are you trying to accomplish? Do you REALLY have that much time on your hands?
Another girl I know honked at a driver and he began to follow her and actually rammed into her car! Pushing her off the road and then drove away. She had to go to the hospital with major neck and back injuries. Crazy stuff. Ever since then, I barely ever honk my horn. I've come to discover that people don't realize the horn isn't always meant as a 'F*ck you'. Seriously, grow up people!

ugh...i HATE idiotic drivers! if everyone just payed attention, followed the rules and maybe weren't always in a RUSH to get everywhere, the roads would be a lot safer. I've been in two accidents..one where i was driving on a pretty busy highway...just going straight - minding my own business, & some idiot decided to gun a left out of a parking lot over DOUBLE lanes of traffic to get to the opposite side of the road...except he smashed me in the midst... another dh was driving & some idiot blew right through a stop sign. I also have a friend who got rearended because the person behind her was texting Since these accidents i am ALWAYS cautious at intersections, stop signs, etc.. not that i wasn't before...but now just more. i used to drive a lot faster too & i wont anymore just because i am terrified of what could happen if some idiot did something stupid & hit me at a highspeed... it's really unfortunate, but it's just the truth these days
