They accepted our offer!!

Can it be true? Will wonders ever cease! Is it actually possible that we found a house?

We looked in Wantagh for the first time yesterday ( we have been concentrating on Massapequa) and found a house with everything in it that we want - It appears to need only a minimul amount of cosmetic work. Taking the carpeting off the wall in the Master Bedroom and getting rid of the neon blue tile in the foyer for starters. The kitchen, 2 baths and windows are new, so is the carpeting in the den and finished basement. The best part is I actually love all the new stuff. I usually have the- I would have done it this way blues. The property is a little smaller than I wanted 60x100 but it has a great deck in the back and Ill still have room for my gardens. Pinch me please!

Do you mind if I ask what school district the house is in? Also is it a good school district? My friend told us to look in Wantagh and she thought the schools were all good (Wantagh and Seaford school districts) but I wasn't sure. Thanks!

It sounds like I have a lot of great li weddings neighbors! We will probably meet in Home Depot.

Fixing it up is going to be fun. There are a few things that have to go ASAP like the Neon Blue tile in the foyer and the foil wall paper that goes with it. The kitchen is great and the main bath is perfect. The work that has to be done is cosmetic (we hope) so we should be able to do it ourself.
