This bad bride needs some advice.

After the wedding I moved to the West Coast, then we had a second reception and i was totally busy planning it literally 4 months. I been so busy that i haven't sent out Thank you cards to both receptions(March & August). I feel horrible but, i am dreading doing this and now i just have to do it. We recently moved into our new house in October so we also need to send out moved notices to our family. Now the holidays is around the corner and we have to send out Holiday cards.

I need an idea can i send out thank you cards, moved cards and holiday cards all together or is it too cheesy?

or is there a cute way to incorporate we moved and holiday cards?

Please i need sort of idea what to do.

would you consider hiring a designer to create an all-in-one card for you? there are so many vendors on here, it might be worth it.

I would send out your TYs with address labels that say 'New Address' or 'Just Moved' (try Colorful Images-they have nice ones!!) Not sure of a way to incorporate all three in one card though(moving, TY and holiday). What about having holiday cards made up w/your wedding picture and send those with the 'just moved' addy labels? There was a post on BHB about holiday cards with wedding pics, I'll try to see if I can find it and post the link to where you can have them made!

eta: Here's the link to the website that sells the wedding holiday cards (called 'Silver Bells' personalized wedding cards):

I would do what other brides have said. If you didn't get a package thank you card in your photog contract then get the picture or pictures you want upload them to any photo site (shuttefly/kodak/etc) don't do a holiday theme on the cover but incorp 'Happy Holidays and Thank you from the New Mr. and Mrs.) then write a message thanking them for attending/gift/etc then what I would do is a different insert with the sim. holiday theme (maybe a postcard just one side printed or just another wedding picture and the new addi on the second side) and then say please update your records, etc OR do address labels and stick them in the card.

good idea.......I am in the same boat....I still have thank you's from two receptions!!!
And I am still receiving registry stuff so it's confusing!!!!!!!!
Where was your California reception?

Wow, Thank you girls for all the great advice. I had a second reception in Southern Cali at Bombay Banquet. Are you in Cali as well?

I know everyone feels differently, but I personally feel like thank yous should be separate from holiday cards. I guess it seems obvious that it was done to cut out 1 of the tasks? JMO though

I agree to use return address labels that say new address.. That's what I'm doing on my TY's.
