add some spice Jen, what would you like to see??? I guess most of the NW have moved on to other interests, say babies, home etc...I guess those could be discussed here too...who knows.

I noticed that too. I think a lot of newleyweds post on the NWR?? I've also moved to the parenting board, but I'd love to spice this board up a bit too!

I post on NWR and Parenting mostly.
I feel like the words 'Newlyweds' and 'brides' are so PAST, and Been there Done that, to me... I just feel silly posting there. I may respond to posts on the other boards, if I have something to add, but my instinct is just to post on NWR (since nothing I have to talk about is wedding related anymore, and Im not a newlywed anymore)...
I wish we could change the websites name too Our kids will be getting married, and we'll still be on 'LIweddings' LOL.

I think it's because we're busy with our DH's on the weekends My hubby works like crazy during the week so the weekends is OUR time!

Please don't yell at me for this, but a lot of times I feel like the Newlywed Board is the 'Newlyweds Helping Brides' Board. I got married almost two years ago, so I don't have responses for many of the posts about vendors, etc.

I can't help but agree with Mary - sometimes there are unique circumstances for brides to come over and ask a specific question that only someone who's been there can answer, and then I'm more than happy to help. But when it's asking generic questions like which photographer you chose, then it becomes a NW helping Brides board. Plus, soon my vendor info will be outdated and useless!
Please don't get me wrong - It's not that I don't like helping, it's just that I like chatting about newlywed things now - things related to what we're doing. I often see NW on the BHB answering questions, and when I have time I'm over there too! I hope that doesn't get taken the wrong way

Well, I agree with Teri and Mary too...and I am slowly getting away from wedding stuff too unless someone asks me about something or I have some advice to share. I love seeing pics of girls houses, crafts, vaca pics, babies, etc. NWR is always happening with posts!

Stacey - I'm working on my next project! Well, I'm only in the planning stages so far.
Scrapbooking is so cool! I've been researching like crazy, since I knew nothing about the subject when I first started. I'm thinking about the layouts, and which specific event I want to focus on (how we met, proposal story, etc) then, embellishments I want to use, and then, most importantly, how I can use them all! I don't want to ruin any of my pictures, so have to figure out the easiest, least harmful way of attaching everything down to the paper.
I'll definitely post some pictures of my progress though!

As for the brides coming over her to ask, I think its makes sense. Who better to ask than us? And since most of us dont go to the BHB often - this is the best way to get an answer..

I have to agree with Teri and Mary ... I hardly answer the bride questions, only when it's specific. I'm starting to get really tired of the wedding stuff. I like chatting about married life and other interesting topics. I check out the Parenting board lately, for future advice and things to know. I do go on NWR but get lost in all the topics and it's constantly moving, so it's hard to keep up. I hope this board doesn't get like the NWR and the BHB board - I wouldn't be able to follow.
