this is what happens when I get a cold
Just thought I'd share this, cuz it made me laugh at myself today. So I went to the doctor today because I've been feeling sick the last few days. She said it's just a cold, though which is good news. So on my way home, since my doctor's office is right near Kohl's, I figured I might as well stop and return the shirt I've been meaning to return for months. Of course because of my stuffy head, I failed to notice that the shirt was in a Target bag and that the receipt said Target. ![]()
So I go into Kohl's and while I'm standing on line, I'm looking at the receipt to see how much money I'll get back (still not noticing that it's a receipt from Target ![]()
) I see that I bought cough drops, and that STILL didn't tip me off - instead I wondered to myself when Kohl's started selling cough drops. Hmmmm.... About a minute later (and thankfully before I made it to the front of the line) it finally occurred to me that I was in the wrong store! I just had to laugh at myself! I'm normally very organized and observant, but this damn cold is messing me up! ![]()
