So I get to work and I turn on all machines and my computer I check my business e-mail and there is this agent here who is away in aruba on Vacation..today is pay day..He wanted me to open his check sign his name and deposit it for him!! ***??? Do I look like his assistant? That was very ballsy of him! I almost fell off my chair I call one of the girls to come look at this e-mail! My boss was Pissed that he asked me!
So that has gotten me fired up and it's not even 10am yet!!! GRRR!!!!!!!!

Wow, that is wrong on so many levels. Coworkers should not be opening each other's paychecks, EVER! In my office, I would think that is grounds for getting fired...DON'T DO IT (I know you won't anyways). What a ballsy thing to ask though, OMG!

I KNOW!!!! He's got some nerve I tell you. I am the Administrator here ..when the Paychecks come in I check off to see who got one incase there are problems later..but never ever open them! He writes me back and says ok..I'll find someone else to help me..Good Luck finding a poor soul! It's never gonna happen!!!!

Nice, then try to give you a guilt trip on top of it like you don't want to help him!!! It's a ridiculous and UNLAWFUL request!!! I mean, it's not like he's your freaking husband and you're signing his name on a paycheck. He's a coworker!! He is verrrrrry presumptuous to ask, and not the most intelligent at all for even suggesting it!!!

Oh it keeps getting better and better...he went around the office e-mailing people to do this. Finally te other sales manager contacted my boss and told him about the e-mail. I then told my boss that he wrote me back and told me he was going to find someone else to help him. My boss told me I did good..I told him I wasn't doing it anyways..it's againist the law and fraud! Plus he's just a co-worker not my husband!!!
