Please post pics of your tuxedos. Did you all go w/black, gray, or charcoal gray? FH and I are arguing over this I say charcoal gray w/a gray/platinum/asphalt colored vest and tie, white shirt. HE says black w/black vest tie. ERRRR............. Does it get any easier?

Re: Those who had morning weddings..........
My hubby wore a black jacket with a white vest, tie and shirt. I say if he wants black, he should be able to wear it. Our ceremony was at noon.

Re: Those who had morning weddings..........
Frank wore a black suit, with a white shirt and a tie.. we were married at 11am...I really wanted him to be in a suit no matter what time we got married, (i saw the pic of jen and brad pitt, and he was in a great suit with a tie, and i just thought that looked so great, and so did frank.. (thankfully we agreed on something! )

Re: Those who had morning weddings..........
My MOH was in Lavendar, and one was in Yellow and lavendar, and flowers to match, and the only thing that the GM wore that matched were the boutineers, and i liked it..im not a big fan of the colored vest.

Re: Those who had morning weddings..........
Our BM's wore mocha. The guys wore the same suit as my husband but with black tie and vests. The only coordination was that the boutineers (sp?) picked up some of the colors in the bouquets. Hope that helps!

Re: Those who had morning weddings..........
Thanks. It does help. I thought everything had to coordinate. So. . . if I put them w/the black suits, it's OK? Just maybe use the Peach bouts. Hmmm.... FH must think I'm a Bridezilla I'll let him have the black then (maybe he'll go for the asphalt vest and tie tho'

Re: Those who had morning weddings..........
We got married at 10:00 a.m. My husband wore a black tux with white tie/vest; rest of bridal party wore black tux with platinum tie/vest. They looked great, even at that early hour!!!! Personally, I let my husband call the shots regarding what the guys wore; of course, I made suggestions!!

Re: Those who had morning weddings..........
lizlen - there is no rule on vest/ties. I was glad though that my husband was in 'platinum' while his groomsmen were in 'bordeaux'. It makes it very obvious in the photos who the groom was!
I am also of the mindset that although you can tell him what you like, that unless he is picking powder blue ruffles you should let him control the decision.

Re: Those who had morning weddings..........
We had a morning wedding & hubby didn't want to wear grey. Our guys wore black tuxes, rich wore Ivory, shirt, vest & tie, the other guys wore Ivory shirts, champagne tie & vest. I the B&W pics you can't even see hubbys tie or vest, I didn't realize that would happen, but i'm happy with they way they looked! Remember it's his day too, he's gotta ba as excited about his outfit as you are about yours!!!

Re: Those who had morning weddings..........
We got married at 11:30 a.m. in a cathedral. The men wore tuxes because that is what hubby wanted (he got to have one thing, right? LOL). Hubby wore a longer length jacket (like a morning suit) and a white shirt with black tie, black vest. The groomsmen wore the same length jacket and white shirt, but they had silver paisley tie and vests. I think it looked wonderful. My BM’s wore celedon, so there was no way the men were going to match that. I think it looked very classy. Do what you want. Black is fine. Our reception was from 1-6 p.m.

Re: Those who had morning weddings..........
chmlengr: Len also wants a long tuxedo jacket. I think we found a nice one in black from Oscar De La Rente. We went to Boneventure, they were wonderful. They didnt have it in stock and ordered a sample in his size for him just to try on. That is excellent customer service. He just got off the phone w/them he says it will be in Thursday.

Re: Those who had morning weddings..........
Liz, we had a morning wedding, I wanted hubby to wear a morning coat and an ascot and top hat, he said no way. So we decided to let the men wear asphalt vest and he wore a white vest and white tie. Oh well. He looked good tho' I am sure Len will look great. The men can match or they don't have to. Its your choice.
