if I set my computer back to default what will happen? I cant take the fact that my internet is acting stupid....it takes forever to post....it errors out constantly...what can I do about this??? Other then default it and cross my fingers

you can restore it to an earlier point. have you ever done that before? i used to have to do it all the time before on my PC...thank goodness for my mac laptop!

is there a virus protection running that checks the site everytime you go to post maybe? I know that can slow you down sometime...i am a Mac head so not much help w/ a PC

Yes I have Norton running, but I have had it since the day I got it....now its every site....ALL of them!
How do I restore it back to a certain point? Ive done it on my desktop, but Im afraid to do it on the laptop b/c its Vista and its ridiculous
It keeps telling me I have updates but when I go to the update page there are no updates....

hmmm try searching online about restore points...ive never done it on a laptop or dealt with vista. sorry i cant be of more help

asked DH go to accessories, then system tools and then system restore. pick a date before everything started becoming really slow

oh no, don't do that if you can't find it by my description, then just try searching for 'system restore' on your computer...you should get something good luck and come back soon!!

hit control>alt> delete all at the same time, then cick on the process tab, you probably have some stuff running in the background that is making your computer run slow, you can close most stuff besides iexplorer. FM me for details
