Re: those who went to las vegas

We just went a few months ago for our anniversary. We stayed at Mandalay Bay. We were very happy with our stay there. I thought other than Bellagio it was one of the nicest hotels. The rates are different every night. I did research online and came up with the package best deal at Liberty Travel.

Re: those who went to las vegas

I ahve stayed at MGM Grand, Treasure Island, Neww Frontier, and Imperial Palace. MGM, New Frontier and TI, I got as a package deal thru the travel agent so I son't know the room price, but IP was like an average of $35 a night!!

The room was alright, but a great price for the room.

I think we paid about 600-800 a person fro Mgm and TI, but that included airfare, and it was 2 to a room.

Re: those who went to las vegas

we stayed at the venetian on the concierge level. it was really a luxury with your own private elevator and all those little extras that make you feel special. i don't remember exactly what we paid, but DH got a discount by agreeing not to cancel or change his reservation. it was definitely the way to go!

Re: those who went to las vegas

Bellagio, and I think it was somewhere in the vicinity of 250ish, but that was midweek, and we got a HUGE bump up to a massive disgustingly decadent suite.

Re: those who went to las vegas

we stayed at Monte Carlo in April - I think it was ~$150. Check their website for the best rates (MUCH cheaper then what you find elsewhere)

Re: those who went to las vegas

We stayed at the Mirage last month at got it for $99 a night. DH is going next week for business and staying at Bally's for $69 a night.

The prices really all depend on if you go over a weekend or mid week and what time of year.

I've stayed at the Mirage, Treasure Island, Excalibur, Luxor, MGM and if i had the money I would love to stay at the Venetian. I loved that place!!!

We paid a special of $119 per night @ the Venetian. WE paid ahead like Sonia and agreed not to cancel or change anything.

Re: those who went to las vegas

Bellagio - more than $300 a night but we got the room overlooking the fountains and as cheesy as this sounds - it was so beautiful to watch. We were mezmorized.

The hotel is beautiful as is the room (huge marble bath, soft down comforter and mattress pad, etc.) but the fountains are awesome

Re: those who went to las vegas

I wish we could go to a super nice place...but DH has a bit of a gambling bug in him and he says he has his best luck at the Flamingo...although last time we wnet he lost $1000+...so it may be time for a new hotel..

Re: those who went to las vegas

we went on our honeymoon in sept, we stayed at the venetion. The best hotel i think:)
we had plans to go to florida or bermuda, but due to the weather at the time, we cancelled the trip the day before our wedding, and booked las vegas. We got reall good deals. We stayed at venetion for 200 a night. We got there a friday night. stayed at the top floors, beautiful view. normally it goes for 350-450 on weekends, depending which floor, but we lucked out with expedia, and last minute reservations:)

good luck
airfare was 600 roundtrip for 2 people on jetblue.

Re: those who went to las vegas

I you get airfare early with Jetblue, you can probably pay $119 each way for each person. That is what we did when we last went.
