How did your guests take them home? Did you pluck the flowers out and make bouquets? Did you have a container to put them in? The centerpiece we like has 4 dozen roses with approx. 6 inch stems stuck into floral foam with greens. Because of the way it is constructed, our guests won't be able to take the whole piece home. Now I'm second guessing.

for our pieces (see pic below)
the staff extinguished the candles at the end of the night and took the flowers off the candlebra part. The flowers are just sitting in between the candles - the candles are not actually in the flowers.
Guests took home just the flower piece, not the stand or candles. There was some sort of container they were in, more than just green foam, that made it easy to transport them. There needs to be some sort of base, or water would be dripping all night...did you ask John?
