Recently she attended an informational meeting at Millersville U. which is close to us, to hear about their Grad. Program, in School Counseling. She said it will be a 3 yr. program, and cost about $6000/yr. She hopes to get an assistantship to help defray costs. And she was told there are currently job openings in the field. I think her plan is to try for a family before entering college. Also, for those of you who remember our yearly spring students at camp thing, yep, it's that time again. I am crafts director again. I think the crafts will be decorating the usual 2 liter soda bottles for bottle rockets, and making zipper pulls for knapsacks/bookbags. Haven't seen the kits yet, but anything has to be better than slopping with water, by 200 kids at a time, as they did last year, when they made leather bookmarkers!!!! (Leather has to be wet, before stamping a design on it). Anyway, Camp Days begin April 30th, and run until May 15th, Thursdays and Fridays, during regular school hours. We're praying for lots of volunteers to help!!! So, that's the update. Have a great weekend!!!! Mary MOB

Hi, Kathy!!!!! Debi just called a bit ago, to ask how many craft supplies we will need, tape, markers, construction paper, and feathers. She already figured on all the beads for the zipper pulls. Thankfully we checked on our supply of 2 liter soda bottles; We were not sure if the camp ranger took them from the pavilion to the storage shed at the close of last spring's session. We had no truck to move the tall boxes. But, he was really a sweetheart, and transported them down the mountain, to the shed. Debi and I collected 'tons' at our local recycle facilty, and washed them, 3 yrs. ago, and while we recycle the ones that get messed up from the launching, we have been able to keep many for the following yr., to make bottle rockets. Oh, yea, she told me one of her friends is getting married SOON!!!! It was a surprise to Debi!!!! I think they plan to get married by a JP, but have a small reception. There is also a shower/bachelorette. Debi said they plan to buy a house with $ saved from not having a big wedding. So that makes 3 weddings for Debi and Fred; Two friends and Debi's Sister. Anyone else have a few weddings to go to? Mary MOB
