I am in a much better mood today. Hope you are all doing well.
In light of recent events, I thought we could all use a pick me up. So today's QOTD is as follows ...
What do you love about LIW? What keeps you coming back despite being married already?
Well, for me, not only is it a GREAT time-waster ( ), I've gotten really friendly with a small handful of you ladies and semi-friendly with most of the rest of you. I like to know what's going on in your lives, and I love sharing mine with you! I love your feedback and I love providing that feedback for you!

All you girls! It was so great having a group of people going through the same time in their lives when we were all planning our weddings and now that we're all in the NW stage I feel the same way. I cannot wait until the NW luncheon so I can actually meet some of you!

When I was working it killed the working day and now that I'm not working-it gives me something to do when I don't feel like doing anything else . I have become friendly with alot of girls on here and a handful of girls have now become my close friends in real life. Now I want to stick around and see the rest of my year get married and give support where I can.
I'm also happy to now be able to post on the NW board and not just be a lurker

it's definitely a nice time-waster! :o) BUT since having gone through the whole wedding thing together, now being NW together, it's just fun to share our lives - i also love sharing things with you and hearing about what's going on in your lives too! i also can't WAIT for the NW Luncheon so i can meet you (and in a few cases see a few of you that i've met before! :o)

Because everyone is so nice and friendly! We have such a good little community going. I like that we're all able to get along and be there for each other.

I love having a place to vent or share something happy, I love just hearing about others girls' experiences wedding related or otherwise and I love wasting time on here. I love everything I guess!

the people
the friendships
the sounding board
as much as I feel nervous about it sometimes with some of the crazy drama that goes on here, I really do like it more than anything else. I also really like helping others and helping planning brides is really fun to me.

I like that it's an outlet for me, I don't have many girlfriends in real life so it's nice to have some online girlfriends...some of whom I've found to be better friends to me than those who I actually know!
I like that it helps me pass some time when I'm bored...
And sometimes I even like the Guilty as charged LOL.

I like the boards b/c it gives me other opinions besides my own and also allows me to share my opinion on topics....I otherwise would probably never share....i.e. 'list your fav tv shows' or' who was your fav vendor on your wedding day?'

The amazing people I have met on here. I honestly believe that you meet people and they come in your life, even for a short time, to teach you something, or to help you learn something about yourself.
I've become much more... whats the word... 'Backbone friendly' when it comes to sticking up for myself. Something that the girls on here made me realize that anyone can do.
I also love that the site is so helpful. If I post something I Can find the answer so quickly, even if it isn't wedding related.
I think that friendships come in all forms, and luckily enough we have all been brought together, despite what others may say or do, for a reason.
I am blessed with the people I have met on this site.

You girls are always there whenever i need anything!! I dont know what i would do without you guys!! I love that everyone is soo willing to help! I ask the most random question and someone will have an answer!!

I love all the amazing girls, the great advice and support, the entertainment & of course that it totally makes the work day go just a little faster
