What's your favorite radio station? Do you and DH disagree about music or do you like the same stuff?

Favorite radio station is hard - in the morning I listen to 106.1 (WBLI) on my way in to work. Coming home, I usually just listen to my IPOD.
DH on the other hand is a WBAB kind of guy. Of course, he is like the character from the movie I Love You Man - he and his friends think that Rush is the best band ever - to which I'm like

I USED to listen to 92.3 and Z100 but since its become a Lady Gaga repeat fest. I've been sticking to my ipod.
DH likes a lot more rock/pop music than I do. I like ALL kinds of music.

It depends on the day and my mood but my programmed stations are
Z100 106.1 WALK PLJ 103.1
I really like soft rock, classic rock, and light alternative.
DH and I agree on that.
But I like Pop and classic oldies (50s, 60s, 70s) a lot more then him.
We also both love the 80s, DH had his own 80s radio show in college.
Where we disagree is DH loves country. While I like a handful of pop country songs, most of the genre is like nails on a chalkboard in my mind.

Well i like all types of music. And honestly my IPOD is like my best bud. But my fav radio station is 104.3 Classic Rock & on Sirius i listen to New Wave or Lithium. DH & I are totally into the same music. We have a very large array of musical likes.

I hate listening to the radio, we're always listening to the iPod. I don't spend a lot of time in the car but when I do it's on the weekends, and I wind up listening to Saturday night '90s if we don't have the iPod. Don't even know which station it's on.

Since I don't drive often and don't have a car, I hardly ever listen to the radio at all. I used to have a shower radio, but it broke, so now I shower in silence. When I do drive my mom's car on LI and when I did have a shower radio I listened to Z100. Dh prefers R&B and Rap, but will listen to whatever I want since he loves me

i vary from z100, to 92.3 now, hot97, 95.5 106.1 102.7, to Highway 16 on XM radio. lol i like a little bit of everything as you can tell

Favorite radio station right now is 92.3 hahaha. Not good ol KROC anymore!!! But I love pop dance music and that's what I listen to in the car. I also listen to classic rock as well lol in the car. DH and I both love allllll different kinds of music. We agree for the most part on things, but there are a few things he likes (Primus/Les Claypool for example) that I just can't stand.

I have always been a devout PLJ gal. I still listen online sometimes.
Now I listen to the clearchannel (like Z100) top 40 station where I moved. Don't love it, but it's ok. They have Ryan Seacrest on in the afternoons which is kinda funny. But Bob & the Showgram doesn't hold a candle to Scott & Todd in the morning.
BTW: Did you know Scott from PLJ actually created the Z morning Zoo?

our DH's would best friends b/c my DH LOVES LOVES LOVES rush, he thinks they are god's gift to music!
and i'm more like you WBLI, Z100, etc.

I listen to Z100 in the morning. When I had my sirius hooked up it was nothing but Howard but I have been too poor to connect it
After the morning time I listen to 101.9, 101.3, 102.7 and 104.3.
DH listens to the same stations but he throws in a little 99.9, 95.5 and some other smooth r&b/lite stations. He prefers R&B and lite music and I prefer Classic Rock and Alternative. But we both will listen to it all.
Lately there is a station that plays 90's on Saturday nights....I honestly never thought I would reach the age where a station would play 90's music but DH and I really enjoy listening to that station on Saturday nights....it brings us back to when we first met.

OMG - it's hysterical - I had to tell him that the wedding was a 'Rush-free' night! All he says is how great they are - I just don't get it.

I listen to Z100, BLI, and 101.9 (the CT alternative station) 94.3 in the car, but I listen to Z100 in the morning only. I don't really listen to the radio too often. DH and I agree somewhat on music, I like some pop/dance/80's metal/90's alternative more, whereas he is pretty much very pigeonholed to Bilyl Joel, DMB, Modest Mouse, and recently, Rush as well It must be a guy thing! I think I definitely have a wider range of music taste.

My presets are: BLI, WALK, Z100, Star 99.9, KC101, & B103.... As you can tell, i mostly like pop.. I love listening to Elvis Duran in the morning on Z100...and then after that I bounce around from station to station and then end up with my Ipod or a CD.
DH likes classic rock, reggae and surprisingly - oldies!
We both agree on an east end true oldies station called WLNG. It's signal doesnt reach beyond exit 62 on the LIE...But its a pretty good station

My presets are 92.3, PLJ, Z100, 102.7, 104.3 and #6 varies. I used to listen to the radio a lot more since I was in the car about an hour and a half each day, but now since we moved it's less than a half hour.
In the morning I always listen to Scott and Todd, but change the station during commercials. I hate radio commercials more than anything!

DH already has ticket for Jones Beach in July - luckily he's going with his friend Pete - I'd have to kill myself...
