Ticked off to no end..

So apparently it seems as though I was using my debit card in Columbia yesterday....
Did you guys know that I took a lil 1 day vacation out of the country??

DH & I were supposed to sign our new lease on Saturday, but thanks to some @$$holes in Columbia who stole my debit card # and over drafted my checking account...that will not be happening.



The bank cant put the money back until the charges completely post to my account. Then I can fill out all of that fun fraud paperwork just to wait 10 days for the money to be recouped!

Oh yea, and to top it all off - I just mailed my rent check today....And I'll have to try and deal with that tomorrow morning.

So on this gorgeous weekend, look for me on your local street corner....Looks like I'm gonna need some extra cash (or hugs)

Oh no that s*cks! What crappy timing!

That totally S U C K S!!!! We had both our debit card and our credit card number stolen this year. People are such scumbags! It never ceases to amaze me how low people actually are. How can you take something that doesn't belong to you!? These people have no morals. I'm so sorry you have to go through that!

this happened to DH around the time we were going into contract with the house, he had charges to some dating service in another country! LOL i laughed that he had to hand in his bank statement with those on it when we were doing the mortgage! LOL

I guess the people who used my debit card were having buyer's remorse....
Or they got caught...
Or the bank decided to just give us our $$ back...

Because the freakin transactions arent even there anymore!!!

So glad it seems resolved. You should still cancel the debit card and get a new one with a new number. And watch your account carefully for the next few weeks.
