Timberpoint Country Club
My best friend is really interested in Timberpoint...can any past brides give feedback of things she could expect or should ask when visiting the hall? The price range is roughly 60-90 pp right?

Well she saw it online and really loved what she saw. She wants to know things like...how is the food? What is included in the price? What is the general price? Do you have to guarantee a certain amount of people? Is the bridal suite nice? How is the service...

I went to Nov04LIBride's wedding there in November. The food and service was great![]()
Hey Christy! I got married there in November (Julie and peabody--Tara--were there, and I was at Tara's there as a guest in October!). Service was great, and the place was beautiful--I have tons of pics. and proofs if you want me to email any. Included in price were also centerpieces for the tables and the cake. We had 100 people for a Sat. afternoon--I would say IMO the place can hold up to 150 or 175 comfortably. We didn't do Sat. night because the minimum was 150, but Tara had a Friday night and I believe her minimum was 75. The food was amazing--it is Lessing's, and everyone told me it was great. When I asked to change one fish dish, they substituted their Bourne Mansion version of it at no extra charge. Any other questions, FM me or stop by!
The bridal suite was nice--I did not get ready there, but it was very pretty. General price is $60-90 or so, depending on month and day/time. It just underwent renovations that were completed in Jan. 04. All of my relatives once again told me at xmas how beautiful everything was.

food and service...AMAZING...tell her NOT to talk to Lenore in sales...she's an idiot.
I was married in March just after renovations, at $53 pp before taxes. We also paid $350 pp for the chocolate fountain and because of the # of guests I guaranteed, they threw in choice of valet parking or international coffee and cordial bar.
Bridal Suite is gorgeous....there are some pics of us up there from my wedding...I can post if you'd like.

I did!!!
Timber Point was perfect for us. My wedding was on a Friday night, October 1st with a guarantee of 85. We paid $63 per person which came out to about $82.00 (with tax and grat).
We had our ceremony at TP outside and the cocktail hour outside. It was beautiful. I was very lucky, because the weather was perfect!!!
I negotiated for ceremony fee to be waived which would have been an extra $300 or $350, I don't remember the exact price.
I added an extra bartendar for $100, but I had to negotiate the price. They wanted to charge me $250.
I tried to negotiated the choc fountain to $3 or $3.50 per person but they wouldn't do it for less than $4 so I said no. It would have been an extra $500 with grat and tax. I was a bit annoyed at that.
Overall, Timberpoint was the perfect place for us and our guests. I loved that it was one wedding at a time, I l loved the comfy and classy decor with the 2 fireplaces, I loved the patio where where we had our ceremony and cocktail hour.
I thought the food was excellent. I tried all 3 dishes that our guests could choose from. My guests commented on how good the food and service was.
I went to Beth's (nov04LIbride) wedding the month after mine and was so excited that I could go and really enjoy the food. I did enjoy the food at my wedding, but at Beth's wedding I got to sit and really enjoy it. It was excellent. Beth had her ceremony outside too and it was BEAUTIFUL!!!
