Tips for Doing Your Wedding Album

I posted this in my 'FInally did my Album' thread-- but wanted to post it in it's own thread so people could see it.

I bought proof albums so it was easier to see everything laid out...I found these great ones on the internet that were like $14.95 each. I got them herehttp://archivalusa.com/ I got the Pioneer album in my proof size.

I organized all the pics into categories, and by chronological order. Then I went through and just stuck a small post-it on each pic I liked-- then, counted them up.. I kept editing until I got down to a reasonable #. Also- when I met with my photographer-- I ended up adding in a couple more pics- since they made suggestions as to things that were not represented.

For parent selections-- I did the same process with them-- but, they each had a different colored post-it so as not to get confused with my pics, or other sets of parents.

Also- having the post it on each pic allows you to write on it- so, if you wanted 2 4x6's, etc. It is easy to count up the extra prints you'll be ordering.

Be forewarned-- be prepared to spend some more $$.
