Tired of Nosey People!

This past week I was approached by several people who flat out asked me if I was pregnant or planning on it soon! It is so frustrating, because I do not think it is anyones business!!! Just because I am married people feel they have the right to ask this. These are not people who are close to me in anyway either!

Sometimes I think people do it just because it was done to them and they forgot how much it annoyed them!!

It really is none of their business!

It is such an insensitive question...what if you were trying and having trouble? What if you didn't want kids? People just don't think nowdays!

Ugh!! That's when you need to come up with a snappy answer and be like - well - DH has 4 kids from his first marriage yet and isn't looking for more - or something like that!!!

My mother brings this up every time I talk to her
No one else has botherd us so far.

Its a soft spot as it is b/c we already have a 2 year old son together and while I would love to have another baby DH is just not ready for another baby....

So of course my mother knows this and still brings it up every time we see her. It sometimes winds up in DH and I fighting at home so I have been seeing her less and less

Not for nothin' but some people can't have children or know it will be difficult....ugh i hate that I think its sooo inappropriate.

I've been married almost 3 years now. Time flies and still get this question. I've learned to deal with it by 'in one ear and out the other' as it's going to happen you'll be questioned from your family, friends, co-workers, superiors at your job, acquaintance people, etc. It's very annoying and of course, no one's business and a private matter between you and your DH, but it's bound to happen as a newly wed.
