to add insult to injury...dh is in the hospital...

well when it rains it pours huh?

dh was at work..and his partner picked up a pail and something flew into dh's eye...he is now at the hospital...

he is ok..they r checking him out..his eye is swollen and he might have a scratched cornea but he is ok

good ews..he will prob not have to goto work on christmas..bad news...on our first christmas i have a shiner and he is a pirate

what else can u do but laugh...i will be telling my kids this story in 20 years

I commented on FB too but I think the real story is you wounded him so he'd be home for Christmas!

Seriously though, I hope he's ok and if there's no real damage I think it's a Christmas miracle that happened so you wouldn't have to spend your first married Christmas apart!

Wow! How crazy - glad he is okay and so glad he gets to be home for x-mas. you def have to take a picture and turn it into an ornament!!

This is a funny story...ahhh the irony of it all...& yes you will be telling your kids this & your grandkids one day & laughing so hard you fall over...lol...

awww Gina. At least you'll be spending your first married Christmas together. I'm just hoping DH gets a good shift tomorrow so we'll be able to spend part of the day together. I'm waiting to hear from him.....
