to change my license....

to change my license....

do i need to get my ss card changed or can i just bring a copy of my marriage certificate??

you need the original copy of your marriage certificate - I did mine last week and there was a newlywed there who only brought a copy - and couldn't change her name! I also brought my SS card with my new name (but since you don't have it yet bring the certificate).

I went directly to dmv from SS...and SS gives you a letter...thats all DMV needed...

I did DMV first.
With just the little letter the Town Hall gave me. I used my old SS card, no biggie.
