To chop or not.....

i know its been 6 months but i am really thinking about doing the newlywed chop.....
please vote and tell my your honest opinions...
i know my hair is in pigtails here but its the most recent pict i have..

i was thinking of cutting it up to my chin or just above my shoulders....???

eh, yeah I couldn't see the picture. But I'm sure you'd look great either way. If you're thinking you want to try it out then go for it. If it's a no-go, it'll grow back. Have you ever had short hair before?? If it's a new thing, then try not to go too short, just in case.

I cut my hair a few years ago and they did it way shorter than I had wanted and it looked horrible on me. Ever since then I've been scarred for life. lol. My hair will never be above my shoulders again (well at least not anytime SOON!) But it depends on your face - some people look awesome with shorter hair, I am just not one of them.

I always love change so i say go for it if its what you want. I agree with the fact that it is just hair, it will grow back and its fun to change up your look. I know i get bored if i have the same look for a long time

If you are not sure how short you want it, then don't go real short at first. Cut it up to your shoulders at first maybe, and see how you like that length. Plus this way it gives you time to settle into your new hair and the shock wont be as big at first, and then if you decide to go shorter it wont be that big of a shock when you go shorter bc you got used to shorter hair already.

When i got back from HM, i chopped it up to my my collarbone at first. Then after i was like ok i like it and think i can go shorter and did.

exactly.....
i always just trim and go back and forth with the color to all blonde and blonde with lowlights and/or highlights

i want to really make a change and i hate myself with dark hair and red always fades way to quickly in my hair

it's not just your hair, its all red hair that is dyed. The chemical that keeps the red in was taken out of red dye years ago and never stays on anyone. On me it fades in 2-3 weeks

I chopped 8 inches off my hair and it felt soooooo good! I was unable to donate because of the condition of my hair...but now that I got it cut it's perfectly healthy!

I would do it right above the shoulders so if you wanted its still long enough to tie into a ponytail.

I'm planning to chop it off after my bpics in April... i cant stand my hair it gets knotted so easily.

i wasn't sure about cutting mine since i have curly hair....donating it was the best thing i did and i really am enjoying new styles as it grows back...i say do it!

If you want a change go for it. I said leave it long bc I think long hair is very beautiful, but that's just my opinion.

I have had long hair my ENTIRE life and chicken out everytime at the salon.. I finally did it last month and I love it! It is so nice to have a change.. don't know why I waited SOOO long.... GO FOR IT!!!

I cant see your pic but I cut off 12 inches and was so scared. I have a round fat face so I wasnt sure but really it is the best thing I ever did. Go for it!
