To eat or not to eat... that is the question (Wedding cake related)

Since I'm due the week of our One year anniversary.....

We were talking about having our cake for our 7 month anniversary (since the nausea seems to be getting worse with all things dairy lol)

would you do this? Or do you think its bad luck?

We were considering doing it valentines?

ohhh...I like the Valentine's Day idea!

I don't think it is bad luck to eat it early since you will be celebrating your anniversary with a baby (yay!)

I don't think it's bad luck or anything to eat it before. In fact, I think about taking that bad boy out everytiime I open my freezer. I love the Valentine's Day idea! Makes it extra special!

We're fatties we ate ours already Not all at once, but once in a while we'd have a small slice of the top which was pretty small as well and after 4 or 5 occasions it was gone. I hope it isn't bad luck.

Okay good. We're going to Rhode Island the weekend of valentines day for a last getaway so I guess we'll take it that morning and it will defrost that night

ITA!! eat it! no such thing as bad luck!! i love the valentine's day idea!!!!!. if the STUPID people at atlantica had told my family they put the top tier in the car, they would have taken it out and put it in the fridge or freezer, instead of letting it melt in the back of the truck the whole next day. .. luckily, the amazing woman who made our cake told us that when the time comes, she'll make us another top tier ... otherwise, we'd probably be eating it for valentine's day too!! okay, rant over! :o)

Go for Valentine's Day, why not? And chances are, if that cake wasn't stored properly it's going to taste all kinds of freezer burned cr@ppiness the longer you wait.
