I haven't been on much the last few days because I've been at the doctors having tests done to continue investigating what's going on with me since before the wedding ...

The neurologist has me on steroids and other meds which were causing such severe heartburn and keeping me awake till all hours because when I've tried to sleep DH has been snoring so loudly with his cold he's just now getting over, so I've been on barely any sleep at all ... which has only compounded my state of mind.

I had a CT-Scan yesterday which was no big deal ... even though I got all worked up over the idea of it b/c I read on WebMD that it could take up to 2 hours ... and after the AWFUL MRI I had a few weeks ago, I wasn't too keen on the idea.

But today I got to experience what I swear felt like MEDIEVAL TORTURE with something called an EMG. Electric shocks & needles are not fun at all .... especially when they make you move your arm around while the needle is in your arm & neck, and move the needle while your moving your arm.

I felt like such a baby during the test, the end of it actually had me in real tears.

Could definitely use some hugs if anyone has some to spare ....

I feel your pain!! LITERALLY......I had one done a few months ago in my neck shoulder and arms...It was freaking AWFUL!!!! My arm jumped so hard I actually hit myself involuntarily during the test!!!

Take some advil, hot shower and relax!!! You will feel better in the morning

I had that test also, That was not fun.

Sweetie, I'm sorry you are going through this. I can relate; I have had multiple EMG's. It is definitely a form of torture. Since they have never found anything concrete in any tests they have done on me, they diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. I am sending you tons of hugs because I know how frustrating this all can be. I hope you get some answers!!

that stinks MRIs are definitely creepy tests, but this emg sounds HAAARD. I can only pray they find the answer, that will make it worth it!!! Take it easy and relax today!!!
