1. Myself, my 2 sisters, my 2 closest friends & mom getting all done up!! I had so much fun with that. I was so very happy to have them all there, drinking mimosas & just hanging out!!

2. Actually putting THE DRESS on!!

3. The ceremony!! I was so there!! Mentally I mean!! We took pictures before & for me it allowed me to focus on what was happening because the nervousness was gone!!

4. My mom got Goofy to come to my reception!! ( I am a Goofy addict!!)

I almost forgot:

5. Also that my brothers stayed at the house with us instead of going to Craigs with the rest of the groomsmen!!

6. While we were all getting ready, my dad played 'Goin to the Chapel' for me & me, him & my little sis all sang it at the top of our lungs!!

Checking the weather that morning to find out it WAS NOT going to rain!

Tourists cheering, clapping, waving and wanting to take our photo in Times Square and while we drove around NYC.

Seeing how great my bridesmaids looked.

Me crying when I first saw Luke and during the vows! (I never cry!)

Ben Stein walking through our cocktail hour.

Arriving at the cocktail hour and thinking it looked so much better than I imagined it.

Guests cheering during our first dance.

This is Memorable:

Me falling asleep in the chair as I'm getting my hair done the morning of my wedding, everyone could not believe how calm I was..

Me barbequing (BBQ'ing) chicken and hot dogs on my terrace and stuffing my face while waiting for my make-up artist to show (she was late)

Me spending the night totally alone the night BEFORE my wedding, watching Seinfield and then went fast to sleep

OK and of course the really good memories was seeing my husband at the end of the isle and I was just glad he was still there because I was 40 mins late! I LOVED my wedding and still wish I can go back to that day.

as I was walking down the isle, it was unbelieveable. that this wedding is real, people are actually here, and my handsome groom was at the alter crying. That was my exhale moment that everything was going to fall in place that day.

Most memorable moments:

1. waiting for DH mother at the church because she was stuck in traffic due to a parade! and having my 12 year old jr. bridesmaid say 'does his mother want him to get married' totally broke the tension!

2. seeing him at the altar.

3. being announced at the reception so much fun!

4. hanging with the bridal party in the limo before the reception. It was nice having quiet time with them.

Well I don't think I'll ever forget our wedding - nor will most of our guests b/c we got married 4 days after 9/11. Most of what I remember is leading up to the wedding. We left NC (where we live) on Tuesday, 9/11 evening to drive up to NY. My whole life turned upside down that day. The whole week we had no idea who was going to show up. So the nice memories are the people who totally went out of their way to be there for our wedding and everyone who helped make it happen. And being so lucky that none of my family/friends were hurt.

The day of:
The weather -- it was perfect -- exactly how I had wished. Sunny and cool.

Trying to get into my dress which was very heavy -- and in the middle of me trying to find my way through all that material my mom just had to walk out of the room b/c she was crying and I was like 'Um, can somebody help me here, I'm stuck!'

Seeing all the BMs all dressed holding their flowers. I started to cry b/c it was exactly how i had pictured it.

My dad putting in these ugly false hillbilly teeth and earring in his nose to make me laugh.

Trying to get out of the limo at the church. It's so funny to watch on the video. I'm such a clutz and I was so afraid of getting my dress dirty -- it took two people to help me out :-)

How nervous I got once we were in the church despite how calm I had been all morning/day.

My MOH's speech -- it was beautiful.

Everyone dancing and having a good time -- we all needed to have fun and celebrate.

The biggest kickline in history to New York, NY our last song.

After New York, NY we all sang 'God Bless America' -- we didn't get that on video -- but I'll always remember it.

Edited to say: Oh yeah and one more: I only had to use the bathroom once the entire day. My new SIL had to help me and it was quite a seen. She had to hold up the front my my dress and crinolin while I tried to hold up the front -- I could barely fit in the stall with all that material. It was quite the iniation of our sisterhood

My DH's face when he first saw me, his eyes were teary.

Exchanging our wedding vows and rings.

Seeing my older sister crying like a baby (ofcourse it was happiness) as the ceremony was ending.

When I was shown the reception room after the ceremony before guest was escorted in.

Our first dance.

Dancing with my little brother.

I'll never forget the muscle pains I had in my legs from dancing the whole time at my wedding that night...

Starting with the beginning of the day:

Waking up to fogginess and praying that the sun would shine;

Putting my dress on and my older brother staring at me from across the hall in amazement;

The beautiful flowers arriving at my house;

The sun coming out during pics at my house;

The butterflies in my stomach as the Rolls Royce pulled away from the house to get to the ceremony;

The butterflies in my stomach right before walking down the aisle;

Seeing the guests in the church as I waited in the back;

Seeing my sweetie at the end of the aisle;

The homily from our ceremony (our priest did a wonderful job);

Exchanging vows and rings;

The SMOOCH!

The priest introducing us as husband and wife;

*Ode to Joy* recessional;

Our semi-private champagne toast in the Rolls Royce;

Arriving at the reception, and the bridal attendant opening the door with a smile and a big CONGRATULATIONS;

Our introduction and first dance;

My FIL's amazing toast to us and our marriage;

Obla di, Obla da...the only group participation song of the evening, and it was a blast!

Dancing with my Mom and stepDad;

Dancing with my Grandpa;

Dancing with my sweetie, and truly enjoying our reception;

Cake!!

Our magical last dance - which had all of our guests mesmorized and completely unwilling to enter the dance floor;

And finally, our private time at the hotel....wearing our Bride and Groom t-shirts, opening our cards and reading all of the beautiful sentiments from our friends and families.

memorable but not so good moment - realizing it was going to pour all day, that I wouldn't have rose petals or pics outside the church....getting to EAB plaza to find huge blown up turkeys all over the place (after paying $150 for this priviledge)...

-the look on my brothers face when he first saw me
- my FH choking up when he said his vows
-giving my grandma a rose during the Ave Maria/blessed mother honoring part
-our first dance
-brunch the next day, everyone applauding when we walked in
