Original post by soon2bmrsVPT

Is it shallow /stereotypical of me to say Strawberry Daiquiris??

Blame Peg's photo & my un-ending STRESS for this question

Vodka Collins.
It's got a fruit garnish. Fruit = Summer, IMO.

is that the same as a Tom Collins?

Yes, and they are so, so good.

To me, there is nothing like an ice cold corona in the summer. But I also love Rocket Fuels when I go to Fire Island. Helloooooo 3,000 calorie drink!

Yep, it's a Tom Collins for people who don't like gin. Kind of like the vodka martini is a martini for people who don't like gin.

All things are better with vodka.

there is a drink at a place I go called the Atomic Bomb. And it is THE BOMB

Its basically frozen lemonade made with raspberry flavored vodka. On the bottom, the put grenadine. Then pour the drink. On the top, they float curacao. It comes out looking & tasting like an atomic bomb ice pop.

My two favortie summer drinks are a frozen margarita (no salt) with an extra shot of tequila and sangria.

They exist in Myrtle Beach, Vegas, Key West, and I'm sure a bunch of other places!
